#### External services
This plugin is a connector for the LeadBot SaaS chat widget and cannot function
without the LeadBot service. By installing, activating, and configuring the plugin
with a LeadBot account, you authorize it to communicate with the LeadBot service
as described below.
**What the plugin connects to and why**
1. LeadBot install verification API – `https://api.leadbot.com/v1/install-tokens/verify`
2. * When it runs: only when a logged-in administrator confirms an install link initiated
from the LeadBot dashboard.
* What is sent: the WordPress site URL and the one-time install token from the
install link.
* Why: to verify the install link is valid and obtain the domain key that links
this site to the matching LeadBot account.
3. LeadBot widget script – `https://script.leadbot.com/script.js?domainKey=`
4. * When it runs: on every public-facing page, only after a domain key has been
saved in the plugin settings.
* What is sent: the standard request data any browser sends when loading a script,
such as IP address, user agent and referrer, plus your public domain key as
a query parameter.
* Why: this script is the LeadBot chat widget itself. It is not a generic third-
party CDN library, it is the runtime delivery of the LeadBot SaaS product, served
by LeadBot’s own infrastructure. It cannot be bundled locally because the widget
is configured and updated server-side per LeadBot account.
5. LeadBot widget runtime – once loaded, the widget may communicate with LeadBot servers
to render conversations and submit visitor input according to the flows configured
in the connected LeadBot account. This communication is handled by the widget,
not by the plugin’s PHP code.
No data is sent to LeadBot from the plugin itself until an administrator either
confirms a LeadBot-initiated install link in `wp-admin`, or saves a domain key in
the plugin’s settings. Removing the domain key, or uninstalling the plugin, stops
the widget from loading.

## Installation
1. In your WordPress admin, go to **Plugins -> Add New** and search for “LeadBot”.
Or upload the zip file manually.
2. Click **Install Now** and then **Activate**.
3. Go to the LeadBot settings in your menu.
4. Enter your LeadBot account or API details to connect your website. No account yet?
